...was Sam's idea. It was created by Sam, too, password and all! The inspiration for its name was the song playing in McDo right when we were talking about putting it up. It seemed apropos as I was in a nobody-said-it-was-easy mood at the time.
Weeks after its creation, I am finally writing something. While I am not new to journaling (I have a big yellow notebook for this, stashed in my room), I'm uncomfortable with the idea of my thoughts and musings, the goings-on in my life being published for others to read -- no matter how small the circle of readers is. I am used to people confiding in me, but I myself am a very private person, though it would probably seem to the world that I'm not. :)
However, Sam convinced me that having this blog is a good thing because of the following:
1) It would be cathartic. (Shopping, though extremely invigorating, is NOT the answer to everything.)
2) It would force me to examine how I am living my life. (I don't know how yet, but I have a strong feeling it would!)Weeks after its creation, I am finally writing something. And so, I'm going to see how this blogging thing pans out. I have to get used to the techie stuff that goes with it though. Maybe I'll like it, maybe it'll die a natural death. Only time will tell it all! : )
